Jeff Giesbrecht

Co-Founder

Jeff Giesbrecht is a seasoned entrepreneur with a proven track record in building and growing new business. He founded TRI-WEST Security Canada in 2013 after a career with the Alberta Sheriffs Department and the Alberta Liquor and Gaming Commission. His leadership has helped position Tri-West as one of Western Canada’s fastest-growing security companies. Jeff also serves as a delegate for a major cooperative and as a district Fire Chief in Central Alberta.

Hayley Giesbrecht

Co-Founder

Hayley Giesbrecht brings over 15 years of experience in healthcare unit coordination and security operations across Central Alberta. She has played a key role in front-line security planning and the execution of major pipeline and energy projects. As the lead for financial and accounting control at the Tri-West Group, Hayley is driven by operational excellence and customer satisfaction. She is a recognized entrepreneur and a respected leader advocating for women in the security industry.

Kevin Kennedy

President

Kevin Kennedy is an accomplished executive with over 30 years of experience in business development, including in the security industry. Known for his operational excellence and entrepreneurial leadership, Kevin combines strategic thinking with strong communication, organizational, and planning skills. He excels at building team-oriented, customer-focused relationships built on trust, respect and service.

Jake Goudie

Vice President, Operations

Jake Goudie is an accomplished and experienced security expert with 7 plus years in the industry. Jake is an extraordinary talent with respect to security and camera systems including site coverage, analytics and video review. His experience in the field and ability to provide comprehensive and meaningful solutions for customers is second to none. Jake’s field experience and product knowledge have become the benchmark for the Tri-West staff and customers alike.

Russell Goodwin

Regional Manager / Private Investigator

Russell Goodwin has over 12 years of experience in the security industry, including roles in protective services, private investigations, and operational management. He holds certifications as a Health and Safety Representative and Axis Professional, and has been formally commended by the Red Deer RCMP for his exemplary service. Russell oversees dispatch and drives continuous improvement across operations.

Chris Fithen

Business Development Manager

Chris Fithen brings 14 years of public safety experience, including 7 years as an Alberta Peace Officer focused on transportation safety and traffic enforcement. He also served 5 years on a municipal Public Safety Committee. With extensive training in legal studies, policing procedures, and threat response, Chris applies his expertise at Tri-West Security to help clients protect their people and property.
